Winter will have to wait its turn… Fantasia is coming!
The leading film festival of the fantastic, the horror, the bizarre and plenty of gore thrown in, will once again delight and amaze filmgoers as it returns back to Concordia University from July 17 to August 5. The poster this year honors the legacy of filmmaker Ray Harryhousen, author Ray Bradbury and journalist Forrest J. Ackerman.
According to La Presse, the festival will host the Canadian premiere of french filmmaker Riad Sattouf’s movie Jacky au royaume des filles as well as the Marvel Comics superhero film Guardians of the Galaxy.
You can take a peek at some screenshots from Richard Bates Jr.’s Suburban Gothic starring Matthew Gray Gubler and Kat Dennings at Bloody Disgusting. It will be this film’s world premiere.
More films will be disclosed on July 10th, as well as the dates for ticket sales.
As other years, expect a review for the films I can get tickets for and bon film! 🙂
