Spoilers promise not to scream during the scary parts.
The second wave of the 27th edition of the Fantasia International Film Festival has been announced and we’re counting the days. The festival will offer a lengthy series of screenings, workshops, and launch events scheduled from July 20 through August 9, 2023. The festival will primarily be shown at the Concordia Hall Cinema with some screenings happening at the Cinémathèque Québécoise and the Cinéma du Musée. Opening the Festival will be Pascal Plante’s RED ROOMS.

More details and other films announced to participate in the official site. The complete lineup will be announced in early July. Fantasia will also feature a book launch event for a new genre fiction anthology called Dark Matter Presents: Haunted Reels that will include a live-read by some of the authors attending the event.
That will do for now.
